Unique concept of "people flow" to efficiently serve loads of people in a fast and slightly impersonal way. You don't have a personal waiter or waitress that comes to your table after you are seated. Nope. It doesn't work that way. You grab a menu at the door and then wait in a line if it's a busy time and order and pay for your choices with a counter cashier. Then another person seats you. You get your seat AFTER you've ordered and paid for your food. Then another person pretty quickly brings your food based on a card that has been placed on your table. Then another person cleans your table for the next person. They are all very efficient and keep the flow moving because on a Sunday morning it seems like everyone in Ann Arbor wants to get in before it closes at 3pm. If you order coffee, you pick it up yourself freshly made and it is DELICIOUS. It's really good coffee and served in clear mugs or carryout containers. The food choices are plentiful and creative and well prepared. The decor is funky with artificial flowers & plants everywhere and crazy pictures. It's a joyous and fun type of place for people of all ages. Just what you'd expect in trendy Ann Arbor. Parking in

Busy at times but really nice atmosphere. Its a little loud so just know your experience is t going to be the quietest but also not the loudest. You can have a conversation with others at your table easily. The food is great and coffee drinks amazing eith non dairy options

Seems to be a popular place. The portion size of the habanero jerk chicken was pleasantly surprising. The waffle flight was also good and a cool option. The dirty chai was dressed well, but the taste didnt standout compared to others I have had. Atmosphere felt more like a quick services, but fun. I did feel like the tables where ontop of each other. Be comfortable eating with strangers. It presented itself with a heavy A2 vibe.

The Hen is fabulous! Finding parking nearby is always my greatest challenge but other than that nothing bad to say. The food is always delicious and fresh. I love their expresso drinks. It’s one of mine and my daughter’s fav spots (especially when the students are gone!)

First off the The silverware was polished and clean I noticed that first as soon as I sat down, food I had an egg burrito with corn, bell peppers, cheese, egg, and onions with sour cream and hot sauce on the side. It was really delicious and made perfectly the restaurant is styled so you could have coffee and bakeries if you’re not really in the mood for eggs or sandwiches we got there late so we didn’t get see all the bakery and they were throwing the bakery items that were left away and the servers dropped one off to our table which was very yummy. I also had the mini waffle combo, which was also delicious my favorite one was the apple and peanut butter!! This is the type of place that you could come work on your laptop or work on your phone and have something to drink , so many options to sit with charging spots right there that was very convenient. I did like that overall, I give the food of five overall give the atmosphere a 4.7 only because the seats are not very comfortable. There isn’t much cushion on the bench style, but I like the open kitchen concept and I like the lighting and the food was delicious The service was great. Ana brought our food as soon as it was sitting
